Our Registered Psychologists provide psychological and psycho-educational assessments for children, youth, and adults. An assessment will provide detailed information about cognitive, academic, adaptive, behavioural, and social-emotional functioning, as well as provide diagnostic information for a range of disorders, such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and other mental health challenges. An assessment can allow for a better understanding of strengths and areas in need of support for academic, social, and/or vocational functioning, and in many cases, provide the necessary documentation required for school and/or community funding. An assessment starts with an initial intake, and anywhere from 1 - 4 hours of direct assessment testing, and a final feedback meeting once the Psychologist has completed writing the report. An assessment can take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks, on average.
